Privacy Policy
This privacy policy is a practical draft for private testing and should be reviewed before any public launch or Google Play production release.
What the child app is for
Kids Safe Platform is being prepared as a kids video app that shows manually reviewed, approved videos. The child app is viewer-only and is not designed for public child profiles, comments, chat, creator uploads, or social sharing.
Data used for app function
The app may use limited data needed for parent access, subscription or entitlement status, watch progress, free preview status, parent settings, filters, and watch-time controls. Video watch or session data may be used to make the app function and to support parent controls.
Child safety principles
- No creator-uploaded video should appear in the child app until admin review and approval.
- The child app is planned without public child profiles or comments.
- The app is planned to avoid camera, microphone, location, contacts, advertising ID, ads, trackers, and analytics SDKs unless a future policy clearly explains a necessary change.
- Parent controls, PIN or biometric unlock, watch-time limits, and safe navigation are core safety features.
Payments and subscriptions
Production subscriptions are planned to be handled through Google Play Billing. The backend should verify purchase status before production entitlement is trusted. This site does not collect payment card details.
Creator and admin systems
The creator portal, admin dashboard, and backend are separate from the child viewing app. Creator proposal, review, and admin audit data are used to manage content review and publishing. Creator tools are not child-facing.
