How review works

Safety starts before a video is published

A video has to pass three steps before any child can see it.

  1. The creator agrees and confirms

    Creators accept our agreements and confirm, with every upload, that they own the video or have permission to use everything in it.

  2. A person reviews it

    A reviewer checks the video's words, sounds, gestures, signs, visual messages, emotional tone, educational value and age suitability.

  3. Only then is it published

    Approved videos appear in the app, and each family's settings still decide which of them their child sees.

الأمان يبدأ قبل نشر الفيديو

لا يستطيع أي طفل مشاهدة فيديو قبل أن يجتاز ثلاث خطوات.

  1. صانع المحتوى يوافق ويتعهد

    يوافق صناع المحتوى على اتفاقياتنا، ويؤكدون مع كل رفع أنهم يملكون الفيديو أو لديهم إذن باستخدام كل ما فيه.

  2. شخص يراجع الفيديو

    يراجع أحد المراجعين ما في الفيديو من كلمات وأصوات وإيماءات ورموز ورسائل بصرية ونبرة عاطفية وقيمة تعليمية، ومدى ملاءمته للعمر.

  3. بعدها فقط يُنشر

    تظهر الفيديوهات المعتمدة في التطبيق، وتبقى إعدادات كل عائلة هي التي تحدد ما يشاهده طفلها منها.

Parents stay in charge

Everything a parent sets is behind a PIN, with optional fingerprint unlock. Children can watch and play, and that is all.

  • Daily time limits

    Separate daily limits for watching and for games. When the time is up, the app asks for a parent.

  • Filters that fit your child

    Choose the ages, languages and categories your child can see.

  • Lock a video or a category

    Keep a young child on one video, or inside one category.

  • Block a video or a channel

    Block a single video or a whole channel, and it is gone for your child.

  • Clear history

    Clear watch history and search history whenever you like.

  • Report and get help

    Report a video from the menu under the player, or write to us from Help and support.

    أبلغ عن فيديو من القائمة أسفل المشغل، أو راسلنا من «المساعدة والدعم».

25 games that run on the device

Grouped into four age bands, from 1–2 years up to 6 and older. Instructions are read aloud in Arabic or English, so the youngest children can play before they can read.

Games stay private, calm, and free from ads, scores and public profiles.

  • No ads, and no advertising or analytics SDKs.
  • No access to the camera, microphone, location or contacts.
  • Suggestions are ordered on the device itself.
  • What a child types into search never leaves the phone.
  • The only account is a parent's. Children never sign in.

Families without a subscription can still watch a little every day.

Unlocks the full library. On Android it is billed through Google Play, renews automatically, and can be cancelled there at any time. The price for your country is shown before you subscribe.

If you make calm, thoughtful videos for young children, in Arabic or English, you can join through the creator portal. Every video is reviewed before it is published.

Creator accounts are separate from the children's app: creators sign in on the web, never in the app.

When can we download Safe Kids TV?

Soon. It is coming to Google Play first, then to the App Store. This page will link to each store as soon as the app is available there.

Does my child need an account?

No. A parent creates one account, and children never sign in. There are no child profiles that anyone else can see.

What does it cost?

New families get 7 days free, then 10 free minutes every day. A subscription unlocks the full library, and the price for your country is shown before you subscribe.

Which languages does it support?

Arabic and English: in the app, in the videos, and in the spoken instructions of the games.

How do we delete our account or data?

From Parent Controls in the app, or with the form on the account and data deletion page, which works without the app.

How do I report a video?

Open the menu under the video and choose Report this video. Rights owners who do not use the app can email us.
